USA AND CANADA – FCC AND IC COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
This device has been tested and found to comply with FCC part 15, Innovation, Science and Economic Development. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The SAR limit set by the FCC and ISED are 1.6W/kg. For wearable operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC and ISED RF exposure guidelines at a minimum separation distance of 5 mm from the body. RF exposure compliance with any third parties accessory was not tested and certified, any third parties accessory is not recommended, a minimum separation of 5mm must be kept when in wearable operation. For push to talk operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC and ISED exposure guidelines at a minimum separation distance of 10 mm from the head. a minimum separation of 10mm must be kept when in push to talk operation.
In Canada, operation of 5150-5250 MHz is restricted to indoor use only.
COMPLIANCE WITH 2014/53/EU RADIO EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE (RED)
Milo complies with the requirements of Article 10(2) as it can operate in at least one Member State as examined. In accordance with Article 10(10), in cases of restrictions on putting into service, information available on the packaging shall allow the identification of the Member States or the geographical area within a Member State where restrictions on putting into service or requirements for authorization of use exist. In all EU member states, operation of 5150-5350 Mhz is restricted to indoor use only. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information: The EU SAR limit For Body Worn is 2.0W/kg and For Limb is 4.0 W/kg. This device should keep 5mm separation distance for wearable operation and 10mm separation distance for push to talk operation. The Maximum Body SAR is 0.290W/kg; The Maximum Limb SAR is 0.290W/Kg. Milo meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. The guidelines are based on standards that were developed by independent scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies.
